Topics may include, but are not limited to culture, business, education, government, news, tourism and ecology. Sites that have a specific section of Africa to the corresponding area in the Regions subcategory. For example, some webpages may fit in the subcategory. Africa is the second largest continent in size and population in the world. It includes about 800 million people living in varied landscapes of green forests, mountains, plains and deserts.'Mother Africa' is where humans first evolved. There were many great cultures, including the famous Egyptian and Sudanese, going back thousands of years.
In the early 1600's European slave traders and colonizers started moving in, and only Ethiopia and Liberia remained independent of the European powers. Beginning with Ghana in 1957, these colonies eventually regained their independence.
There are more than 2000 African languages today, including the widely-spoken Swahili, Hausa and Yoruba.

The Caribbean or the West Indies is a group of countries and islands in the Caribbean Sea. These countries and/or islands are located from the Southeastern areas of Mexico to the northwest of Venezuela in South America. There are at least 7,000 islands, islets, reefs, and cayes in the region. This region is the combination of two world regions, Australasia and Oceania.
Australasia contains the countries of Australia and New Zealand, and their associated islands and archipelagos.
Oceania contains several island groups in the central and south Pacific ocean. These groups are Micronesia, Melanesia, and Polynesia.
The Australasia and Oceania regions collectively covers a land area of 3,285,048 square miles. The combined area extends 2000 miles (3200km) North - South and 2500 miles (4000km) East - West.
Most Western point is Steep Point in Western Australia. (113 degrees East) Most Northern point is Eastern Island, Midway Islands. (28 degrees North) Most Easterly point is Clipperton Island. (109 degrees West) Most Southerly point is Macquarie Island, New Zealand. (54 degrees South)
